Article 243ZF – Application of certain provisions relating to the State Election Commission to Municipalities
The provisions of Article 243K relating to the State Election Commission shall, so far as may be, apply to Municipalities.
Article 243ZE – Elections to Municipalities
The superintendence, direction and control of the preparation of electoral rolls and the conduct of all elections to the Municipalities shall be vested in a State Election Commission.
Article 243ZG – Continuance of existing laws and adaptation of laws
All laws in force immediately before the commencement of this Part relating to Municipalities shall continue in force until altered or repealed by a competent legislature. Parliament and State Legislatures shall have the power to make adaptations, modifications, and repeal of existing laws necessary to bring them in conformity with the provisions of this Part.
