Article 394 – Commencement
This Constitution shall come into force on such date as the President may, by public notification, appoint.
Article 393 – Short title
This Constitution may be called the Constitution of India.
Article 395 – Repeals
The Indian Independence Act, 1947, and other enactments specified in the First Schedule to this Constitution are hereby repealed, save as respects things done or omitted to be done before such repeal.
